As a lifelong resident of Marshallton Heights, Anthony Delcollo is very active in his community.
Son of Daniel and Barbara Delcollo, Anthony was born in October of 1985 and grew up in Marshallton Heights in New Castle County.
Anthony graduated Salesianum High School in 2004. Active in scouting, he attained the rank of Eagle Scout in Troop 21.
While at La Salle University, Anthony served as the President of the Philosophy club and held symposiums on topics such as the Israeli-Palestine Conflict and the Ethics of the United States’s policies on Interrogation. He was in the Honors Program, and graduated maxima cum laude with degrees in Western Philosophy and Medieval European History.
In 2011, Anthony graduated magna cum laude from Seton Hall University School of Law. While in law school, he worked in the Civil Rights and Constitutional Litigation Clinic helping individuals convicted of crimes, who after serving their full sentences, were nonetheless illegally detained. Anthony also worked for the New Jersey Legal Education Empowerment Project, where he taught urban youths about public speaking, writing, and civil rights. He was a law clerk for the Union County Prosecutor’s Office in the Domestic Violence Unit. Finally, Anthony also represented consumers in Seton Hall’s Advanced Arbitration Clinic, opposing businesses that had violated the rights of consumers through fraud or unfair business practices.
Anthony was admitted to the Delaware Bar in 2011. He served as a law clerk to the Honorable Mary Johnston in the New Castle County Superior Court for the State of Delaware and practiced at Heckler & Frabizzio in the Workmen’s Compensation Defense and Insurance Liability Defense Departments.
Currently, Anthony practices at Cooch and Taylor, P.A. in the areas of employment law, commercial law, landlord/tenant law, construction litigation, and civil rights/Constitutional law.
Anthony is a Delaware State Sportsmen’s Association director, Delaware Rail Splitters executive committee member and a founding member of the Delaware Association of Second Amendment Lawyers.
In 2015, Anthony graduated from Leadership Delaware, Inc. Leadership Delaware’s mission is to sharpen the talents of its Fellows and develop their leadership qualities so that they may better serve their state and local communities as they continue with their various vocations.
